In its standard configuration the structure of the machine is made up of:
4-COLUMN FRAME. Steady strengthening crossbars connects the four columns. Well-protected tempered steel guides make possible the sliding of body-side sustaining sliders. An encoder connected to a central control system electronically controls the vertical movement of the body-side.
SUPPORTING MOBILE BRIDGE SIDES.
A generous dimensioning of the sides allows a useful cutting width equal to 2400 mm. Due to the long stroke, vein-wise cutting can be carried out on particular materials (for example perlato marble), by placing the block inclined in respect to the cutting direction. The oil-bath sliding guides are made up of hardened steel and they are interchangeable. The specially shaped sliders, placed at the bridge ends, produce a water siphon system that makes the oil-bath zone waterproof.
SPINDLE-HOLDING BRIDGE.
An extreme structural stiffness is granted by the large bridge section and by a stead system of anchoring to the sides. The bridge transversal positioning movement is controlled by an asynchronous self-braking motor fed by an inverter electronically controlled, and, on his turn, by an encoder connected to a central control system. |

The new splitting machines are compact, easy to use and adjust, and allow exceptional production performances thanks to improvements in quality and performances. The machines are suitable to divide marble strips up to a max length of 630 mm and to a max thickness of 100 mm.
Main innovative features:
a) the conveyor belt sliding plane and the mobile bridge sliding columns are fixed to a heavy base made in very thick electrowelded plate;
b) an only mobile bridge, supporting all the engines, vertically runs along two or four columns, which are fixed to the base, in order to allow the thickness change thanks to a motorised movement whose height is displayed;
c) the sides guides and the dividing plate are fixed to the mobile bridge. They follow the mobile bridge vertical change, so they do not need any further adjustment. The spindle-engines are fixed to the mobile bridge by the flange and are perfectly perpendicular to the working plane;
d) the wheel-base of the engines can be changed in order to fit the different disc diameters. The discs can be vertically adjusted one by one;
e) the discs are directly mounted on the shafts of special spindle-engines, suitable to support both radial and axial stresses, so all the power is transmitted to the discs without the losses caused by the belt drive. In this way the available power increases of 25/30% at a parity of installed power.
Most important advantages:
1) reduction in marble waste during cutting;
2) saving of electricity;
3) saving of cutting costs by using discs of smaller diameter and thickness;
4) possibility of discarding defective material before cutting it uselessly to final thickness.

1° trait: rolling table insane engine 1500 mm to receive the two strips superimposed deriving from the splitting machine; at the moment the limit switch will be engaged the rolling-table will be put in operation with great speed to transport the strips on the following rolling-table (2° trait);
2° trait: separator-translator of 1700 mm to separate the superior strip from the inferior strip with side-way transfer; when the inferior strip goes out of the rolling-table of the separator, the superior strip comes transferred again on the same rolling-table to subsequently enter the 3rd trait;
3rd trait: revolving system with fork of 1700 mm to rotate the strip of 180° and to turn it with the cut of the splitting machine turned upward to subsequently enter the 4th trait;
4th trait: rolling table insane engine 1500 mm to feed the following machine.
